Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Silvia Bivolaru, trading as Silvia Tango ("I", "me", "my"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit silviatango.com, sign up for updates, or book a class, private lesson, studio session, or boutique appointment.

What Data I Collect
Depending on how you interact with the site, I may collect:
- Newsletter sign-up: first name, last name, and email address, submitted through the form on this site (built with systeme.io).
- Bookings and appointments: name, email address, phone number, and payment details, submitted through Momence when you book a class, private lesson, studio session, or boutique appointment. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — I never see or store your full card details myself.
- Enquiries: anything you send me directly by email or WhatsApp.
How I Use Your Data
- To process and manage your bookings, and communicate with you about them (e.g. confirmations, reminders, schedule changes).
- To send you newsletters or updates, where you've agreed to receive them.
- To respond to questions or requests you send me.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Legal Basis for Processing
- Consent — for newsletter emails, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
- Contract — for data needed to process a booking or payment you've requested.
- Legitimate interest — for essential communications about a booking you've already made.
Who I Share Your Data With
I use the following third-party services to run this website and my business. Each of them processes personal data on my behalf, under their own terms:
- systeme.io — hosts this website and manages the newsletter sign-up form and contact list.
- Momence — manages class/appointment scheduling, customer accounts, and bookings. When you create an account to book with me, that account is set up directly on Momence's platform, under Momence's own Terms of Service and Momence's own Privacy Policy, which govern how Momence itself handles your account data.
- Stripe — processes payments for bookings and purchases.
- Google reCAPTCHA — used by Momence's booking form to prevent spam/bot submissions. This means Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Terms of Service also apply when you use the booking form.
I do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How Long I Keep Your Data

Cookies
This site may use cookies set by systeme.io and by the Momence booking widget to make the site and booking system function correctly. These are generally necessary for the site to work, rather than for tracking or advertising.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct inaccurate data
- Ask me to delete your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter)
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@silviatango.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data hasn't been handled properly.
Children's Privacy
This site and its services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
