Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply whenever you book a class, private lesson, studio session, or boutique appointment with Silvia Bivolaru, trading as Silvia Tango ("I", "me", "my"), or purchase an item from the boutique. By booking or purchasing, you agree to these terms.

Bookings & Payment

  • Private lessons and studio bookings are paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Group classes and workshops are booked and paid for through the schedule on this site.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Private lessons and studio bookings: please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less notice than this are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
  • Group classes and workshops: if you're unable to attend a session you've paid for, there is no refund or makeup session offered for that missed class.
  • If I need to cancel or reschedule a session (illness, emergency, etc.), I'll let you know as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative or refund.

Participation & Assumption of Risk

Argentine Tango, like any physical activity, carries an inherent risk of injury. By taking part in any class, private lesson, workshop, or studio session, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate and take part at your own risk. I take reasonable care to teach safely, but I am not liable for injuries or losses arising from participation, except where caused by my own negligence. If you have any medical condition or injury that could affect your ability to take part safely, please let me know before your session.

Photography & Video

I may take photographs or video during classes, workshops, or events for use in marketing (e.g. on this website or social media). By attending, you consent to being included in this content, unless you tell me in advance that you'd prefer not to be photographed or filmed.

Boutique Purchases

  • Items purchased through the boutique are covered by your standard UK consumer rights, including the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if an item arrives faulty or not as described.
  • To be eligible for a return (outside of faulty items), items should be unused, unworn, and returned in their original condition and packaging.

Code of Conduct

I want classes, workshops, and studio sessions to be a respectful, welcoming space for everyone. I ask all students and studio guests to treat myself, other students, and the space with courtesy and respect.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, and branding — belongs to Silvia Tango unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
